Hello, my name is Vinessa Hazdovac. I am an artist residing in beautiful, scenic northern Idaho and I am so in love with painting.

I have been painting professionally for about thirteen years and I specialize in landscapes, floral pieces and seascapes using an oil based medium. My goal as an artist is to capture the beauty of nature using a semi realist style with a sense of whimsical contrast and value, as well as gain a better understanding of color theory and light application. I have always been inspired to paint landscapes because of the beautiful place I live but for some reason I’ve also always had an affinity for painting crashing waves and water.

Painting has always brought me so much inexplicable joy, and my career really began when I realized that my paintings brought happiness to others as well. I decided, in my early twenties, that creating beautiful pieces wasn’t just going to be a fun hobby anymore; it would become my life, and what an incredible journey it has been.
